Odom and his “SLUMP”

According to the Los Angeles Times, on December 10, 2011, Odom was traded to the Dallas Mavericks for a first-round draft pick and an $8.9 million trade exception after David Stern vetoed a proposed three-team trade with the New Orleans Hornets involving Odom that would have sent him to the Hornets, Chris Paul to the Lakers, and Pau Gasol to the Houston Rockets. Lamar has played with the Mavs his performance has decreased tremendously. He averaged 14.4 points with the Lakers but is currently suffering to keep up with his former stats. Lamar feels as though he still “got it” but his performance says other wise. Yeah, him taking a salary cut and being traded from the Lakers to the Mavs sucks but is it really worth your career?  It’s time to get out of the slumps and keep it moving.
